Temporary itemsEdit

OoccooEdit

Each time you go into any dungeon before the Twilight Realm, you can find Ooccoo in a certain place in the dungeon but lose her once you beat that dungeon. You can use her to warp you out of the dungeon and then use Ooccoo Jr. to warp back in. You also have neither Ooccoo nor Ooccoo Jr. if you leave the dungeon another way. Which ever way you leave the dungeon, Ooccoo reunites back with you when you enter the dungeon. In the City in the Sky, Ooccoo warps you to the shop in that dungeon instead and once you warp there, Ooccoo reunites back with you if you go out the door of the shop.

BottlesEdit

  • You get a half bottle of Milk for free the first time you go into the Ordon shop and talk to Sera when the game assumes the cat grabbed the fish and went there.
  • You can buy an oil bottle from the guy in Faron woods for 100 rupees only once. You can also but a lantern refill for 20 rupees any time you have a not completely full lantern or a refill of a bottle with lantern oil for 20 rupees any time you have an empty bottle.
  • You will learn about later.
  • You can capture a bottle with the fishing rod in the small water hole in the fishing hole.

Bomb bagsEdit

Right after you beat Goron Mines, bombs are the only type of explosive you can buy. After you follow the zora child's mother to the grave, water bombs become available to buy. Even later in the game, bomblings become available to buy.

There are 3 bomb bags in the game. All bomb bags hold 30 bombs, 15 water bombs, or 5 bomblings but you can't have more than one type of bomb in the same bomb bag. The lent bomb bag comes with the maximum number of bombs it can hold when you're lent it but the other 2 come with the maximum number of bombs it can hold when you're given them.

  • After you beat goron mines, you can buy a bomb bag with all the bombs it holds from Barnes' bomb shop.
  • You can get a bomb bag by blowing up the underwater boulder in Zora's Domain then talking to the goron in it while wearing iron boots.
  • You can get lent a bomb bag when you go into the building at the top of the river. You're given that bomb bag if you finish the course but you lose the lent bomb bag if you go back out the door or save and quit. You can also steal the lent bomb bag by warping out of a dungeon, getting the lent bomb bag, then warping back in, but you can't steal it by having Midna warp you because you can't transform into a wolf in front of her.

There's also a bomb bag upgrade called the large bomb bags that makes it so that every bomb bag you have can hold twice as many of each type of explosive, even the ones you get after the upgrade, and you get that upgrade by winning the challenge that opens up after you get the bomb bag from going down the river.

When ever you buy any type of explosive in any shop, you can only put it in a bomb bag without another type of explosive. If you have more than one bomb bag that's not full of that type of explosive and doesn't have another type of explosive, you can pick which of those bomb bags to put it in but can only put it in one of them and if that many won't fit in the one you picked, you only put as many as will fit in it and waste the rest.

A chest that normally gives you bombs gives you bombs, or if you don't have a bomb bag that isn't full of bombs and doesn't have another type of explosive, gives you water bombs, or if you don't have a bomb bag that isn't full of water bombs and doesn't have another type of explosive, gives you bomblings, or if you don't have a bomb bag that isn't full of bomblings and doesn't have another type of explosive, gives you bombs. Which ever type of explosive you get from a chest, if you have a bomb bag that isn't full of that type of explosive and doesn't have another type of explosive, it puts some in which ever bomb bag that's not full of that type of explosive and doesn't have another type of explosive has the most until no more will fit and then puts the rest into another bomb bag without another type of explosive if you have one.
